Producer, screenplay writer

Producer Markku Flink (born1964) has produced and directed films in the Nordic countries since the 1990’s. Flink graduated as a documentary film director in Norway in 1993 and worked for a long time in Norway as a director/producer. He has completed the international EAVE film producer’s degree in 2004. In 1999, Flink founded a regional film fund in Oulu. He acted as the Executive Director of POEM, the regional fund, from its founding to 2008.

Markku was a member of the board of the National Cinema Council on periods 2004-2006 and 2007-2009. The Council is an expert body of Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland (www.taiteenkeskustoimikunta.fi).
