Outi Rousu, CV FILMOGRAPHY (selected) A feature film, bitter sweet drama MISS BLUE JEANS by Matti Kinnunen will be in production in 2010-2011. Released films (selected) The latest release, awarded feature drama KOHTAAMISIA (Heartbeats) by Saara Cantell will tour in cinemas in 2010. Outi is a co-producer of the feature drama ANGEL (2009) by the Amanda awarded director Margreth Olin and Amanda awarded documentary MODERN SLAVERY (2009) by Thomas Robsahm, both were released in cinemas in 2009. Non Profit (2008) by the director Pauliina Feodoroff is the very first skolt-sámi feature film. The feature film for children, VALO (2005) was completed in collaboration with the Unicef as a Nordic collaboration. The film has travelled very well in abroad in four continents and gained prizes. MOVING NORTH (2003) 10 short dance films is a Nordic co-production between all five Nordic countries and supported by all 5 national film institutes and public broadcasters. The two Finnish shorts; VERTEBRA by Milla Moilanen and PORTRAIT by Saara Cantell. Periferia and the Irish Paradox Pictures co-produced a documentary film ESTELLA by Steve Woods in 2000 (IFB, Media, RTE & YLE TV1). The first feature film by Outi as a producer was TAKING MOSES FOR A RIDE (prod. Illume and released by Columbia Tristar in 2001). Outi was a co-producer of the children’s feature film ROLLO, produced by Matila&Röhr Productions (2001). The film was a great box office hit and was sold to several countries. The German-Finnish-French co-production GIRLS AROUND THE WORLD (1999) is a series of tv-documentaries. Beloved Finnish author of childrens´books Elina Karjalainen and Outi collaborated and completed a Christmas tv-calendar UPPO THE BEAR for children in 1995. Outi’s two own documentaries, both about Christmas theme, STAR BOYS (2008) and TIERNA – my month as a king (2009) were broadcasted by YLE. Both films are about the cooperation and friendship of little boys. |
